Regardless of how much we love Berlin for its rough-around-the-edges aesthetic, we still get the occasional craving for old-school European charm.
As if a French brasserie were imported to the heart of Berlin, Entrecôte offers all the precious touches that the “Berliner Schnautze” poo-poos—from checkered tablecloths under crisp white linens and a serious French wine list to soft lighting, not to mention their signature prime rib that would have any skeptic asking for more.
The classic French cuisine—steaks in perfectly reduced sauces, starters like French onion soup, clean seasonal salads and oysters on the half shell—scores big among both power-dining businessmen and amorous couples. Additionally, their “menu classique”, a light salad followed by roast beef and potatoes, is a steal at €17.50 albeit a bit unexciting.
