Eins sits on the corner of two Mitte side streets, quietly awaiting loving patrons to come in and savor their goodies. Old milk barrels adorn the cafe and are reinvented as light fixtures, a scooter is permanently installed and a wall of wine invites you to sit and have a glass, or take one home.
Their cold case boasts a beautiful selection of cheeses and different prosciuttos and aged salamis. For lunch they offer fresh sandwiches and varying pasta dishes. But the best hour to wander in is the unofficial “happy hour,” when the staff will lovingly create a plate of cheese and salami and fresh bread to accompany your carafe of wine.
