Founded in 1994 as a community initiative, the Ökomarkt am Chamissoplatz is one of Berlin’s oldest all-organic outdoor markets. With many farmers coming into Berlin from Brandenberg and outlying farms, the market is small and select, guaranteeing the best local products.

With everything from radishes to wine, brooms to flowers and cheese to clothes, the market continues to act as a neighborhood focal point 14 years after its initiation.
