Designed by star architect Renzo Piano, this geometrically complex theater—which hosts concerts, dramatic performances and musicals—has been one of the most visited attractions at Potsdamer Platz since opening in 1999.
The spectacular glass structure is located at Berlin’s birthplace of show business, where classic stars of the silver screen like Dietrich performed and partied in the great spirit of the Roaring Twenties. After changing tides of unrest, control, destruction and rebuilding, first-class entertainment is once again home in the center of the city at this remarkable venue.
