Begun in 1988 by the investment consultant Axel Haubrok, Sammlung Haubrok is a modest collection of contemporary art currently housed in Berlin. Situated on East Berlin’s grandiose promenade, the exhibition space hangs four exhibitions annually.

Brought to Berlin from Düsseldorf, the 500-piece 30-artist collection boasts an unlikely list of names, most of whose works are concept-based and play with strong references to Minimalism.

The space is a bit off the beaten path and open only on Saturdays, making visits quite intimate and always challenging.
