Luckily for us, this gorgeous former railway station built in 1842 largely escaped 20th-century decay. Now a 3,000-square meter venue, Postbahnhof impresses with its Gothic brick stylings and exciting architectural geometry.
Some must-see bands come here: the restored industrial building’s partnership with RadioFritz gives it the clout to book indie talents such as Animal Collective as well as well-regarded names, like the Arcade Fire and Arctic Monkeys.
Consisting of two gigantic, former cargo halls and a plethora of side rooms, the still-smoky but terrace-laden Postbahnhof is one of the nicest places to see a concert in Berlin.
