Peres Projects has extended its gallery base to Berlin. First of all, Javier Peres purposefully settled down in Kreuzberg, far away from all the Mitte galleries which tend to feel clumped together. But now they’ve upped sticks to the monumentally-sized spaces on Karl Marx Allee. It serves as a stage for young, successful artists like Terence Koh—Peres’ bankrolled wunderkind—Bruce La Bruce, Dan Attoe, Chris Ballantyne, Joe Bradley and Dan Colen. With a newly expanded space and a project space in the facing building, Peres Projects has their art market cornered.
