Museumsdorf Düppel
Remember the Good Old Days

Welcome to the Middle Ages. The museum/village, Düppel, is a reconstructed village in its entirety, built to look exactly as it existed 800 years ago.

Middle Aged housing and landscape have been rebuilt on 16 hectares of land. The past reanimates via old breeds of livestock and long forgotten agricultural crops. Voluntary staff members perform ancient handicrafts, and you can start appreciating your food processor and microwave more than ever before.
