Museum der Dinge | Werkbundarchiv
A comprehensive look at things

Finally, a museum dedicated specifically to “things” in all of their glory. From the mid-80s to the late-90s, the museum’s primary focus was on “everyday culture”, but its present concentration on “things” like housewares, furniture, knicknacks, and other oddities permits a more universal concentration on design and its relationship with 20th-century culture.

The Museum der Dinge also offers visitors the opportunity to experience its “things” by touring the museum warehouse, browsing its impressive archive, or checking out the Thing of the Month online. Afterwards, add to your own collection by visiting the museum shop.

One of the coolest archives you’re bound to come across.
