Polish director Andrej Woron commonly called this venue, formerly known as the “Theater am Ufer,” the “Theatre Kreatur”—his most exciting independent theater.

Today, it’s joined the powerhouse theater conglomerate “Hebbel am Ufer” and has been christened with the further moniker of “Hau3” to reflect it being the smallest of the three houses, which certainly doesn’t relate to the quality of the plays staged here.
