The international and discursive program of Galerie Tanja Wagner, founded in 2010, is created by artists with different cultural backgrounds who work in a wide range of material. It is decisive for the program that all artists create a tension between the idea and the material.

Their works negotiate between the sayable and the visible: between what can be said and what can be shown. However the first impulse is always set by the art work. It is the aim of the artists, as well as that of the gallery, to articulate a new position that cannot longer be explained in postmodern terms. In addition to each solo exhibition, Galerie Tanja Wagner has been organizing artist talks with critics, curators or philosophers to discuss these current tendencies.
