Galerie Sherin Najjar was the first gallery to open its doors at Potsdamer Platz. The focus of the gallery’s program lies on young and established artists working on the interface between language and image.

Promoting the long-term development of artistic careers the gallery’s aim is to discover and establish new talents. In addition to the solo presentation of emerging and established artistic positions, thematic group exhibitions as well as the collaboration with international galleries, institutions and curators help shape the profile of the gallery.

The gallery building was built by the British architect David Chipperfield and combines the tradition of the “Steinerne Berlin”. Parallels can be drawn to Le Corbusier and the Bauhaus movement, whose architectural language is transported into the 21st century.
