[DAM] Berlin
Digitalism

Established in 2003, [DAM] Berlin provides a bricks and mortar location for its gallery heads to continue their ongoing explorations into the impact of technology on art. Part of a wider project of the same name (DAM standing for Digital Art Museum), gallery owners Wolf Lieser and Susanne Massmann use this space to present their ideas as well as works by selected artists, while their online component provides an exhaustive look at international trends within this realm.

With a specific focus on showcasing new developments in the field of computer mediated art, [DAM] Berlin regularly hosts exhibitions featuring animations, installations and digital art, shining a light on everything from avatars to iconography in the digital age.
