DAAD Galerie is the exhibition space for the internationally renowned artists-in-residence program, Berliner Künstlerprogramm. The grant is awarded to nearly 20 artists—visual artists, dancers, writers, musicians, filmmakers etc.—who are invited to live in Berlin for the span of a year.

The gallery hosts final exhibitions for DAAD artists as well as assorted cultural events. Funded by the Foreign Ministry Office and the city of Berlin, DAAD brings international artists to the heart of Berlin, often inspiring them to stay for an extended period of time.
