The Bourouina Gallery was founded in 2008 by French curator Amel Bourouina, a defender of the dynamic, lover of all things radical and protector of artistic integrity. After having worked at the Centre Pompidou as a documentary film custodian for six years, she decided to pursue an old idea by opening her own gallery in Berlin.

Her program is mostly occupied by young painters, but frequently shifts its conceptual stance. Keep an eye out for the somber pictures of Guillaume Bresson and Andy Wauman’s sharp, minimalist black and white prints.
