Soju Bar is a welcome addition to the micro-bar culture of Berlin. Situated in Kreuzberg right next to Kimchi Princess, it’s the perfect place to drink down something cool after your spicy Korean BBQ.

Hyun, the mogul behind the Korean dynasty of Soju Bar, Kimchi Princess and Angry Chicken, used the streets of Seoul as his main inspiration. He wanted to “imitate a little street corner in an Asian capital”, hence the abundance of neon lights and concrete.

As the name suggests this watering hole boasts a wide variety of soju based cocktails as well as more traditional long drink mixes. Be sure to try the Seoul Mule (soju, cucumbers, lime and ginger beer) or the Korean Devil (soju, strawberry juice and Tabasco). If you prefer something non-alcoholic, the Hangover Killer (green plum juice, soda, and lime) is the way to go.

Soju Bar also hosts a variety of music events, with past acts including Headman, Daniel Wag, Trevor Jackson, and many more.
