This is the sort of place East Berlin seemed to be full of in the mid-1990s: a former industrial space decorated with furniture from Treptower Park and dubious graffiti, and an unpretentious, laissez-faire vibe.

Music is provided by live acts and DJs, and veers between indie, punk and electro to Balkan beats, purist techno, dancehall and alt-cabaret. The beer garden is a popular Friedrichshainer hangout in the summer.
