While Paco Rueda has only recently moved in to Barcelona’s Born district, it has been operating for the past 30 years as a family-run independent fashion boutique. Luis Rueda, the store’s current owner, inherited the store from his father five years ago and has been steering the boutique towards its current avant-garde focus ever since.

Stocking designers including Raf by Raf Simons, Ally Capellino, Henrik Vibskob, Wood Wood, Opening Ceremony, Surface To Air, Folk and A.P.C., the boutique offers labels and names seldom found in other outlets in the city. Though heavily featuring staples such as footwear, bags, shorts and shirts, the Paco Rueda also offers up more outlandish selections perfectly tailored to the inner surrealist.
