Doshaburi translates to “Clean up the soul with torrential rains” in Japanese, which likely attests to the aesthetic of the first Japanese boutique in Barcelona. While the showroom does not feature Japanese labels, the focus is on Japanese styled men’s and women’s clothing from high-end designers including Bernard Willhelm, Bless, Peter Jensen, C·neeon, A’N’D, Marjan Pejoski and KTZ.
Located partly in a 14th century palace along a winding street, the boutique’s two rooms are only accessible by doorbell so be prepared for a bit of navigation before finding it. Yet Doshaburi’s relative obscurity keeps the tourists away and allows you to marvel in peace at collections that, while not exactly affordable, may only be found here.
