Chino, aka Cooler O’Connor, was born in Costa Rica. His playground: photography, film, video art and music. He became part of Barcelona’s street culture in his own right, working with different organizations as a VJ and part of The Itchy N Scratchy Show. His nights include Nasty Mondays, Boombox, Rodeo and The Gallery, to name a few. Spend 25hrs with video artist as he navigates the streets of Barcelona. Chino knows his city—from digging around in flea markets for the best bargains, to sampling the tastiest cuisine, to printing his own t-shirts. This is Barcelona.

Arrive early for the real bargains. I love this place because it’s full of unpretentious knick-knacks, the atmosphere is great and you can find some gems.
This is my friend’s shop/gallery where everything is handmade, from toys and accessories to silk screened garments.
I recommend this place for a genuine Gallicean food experience. It’s beautiful, generous and the terrace is the perfect spot to enjoy typical seafood dishes and the iconic paella.
Bar Oviso is a great start before a night out. The atmosphere is chilled, the food is good and they offer an unbeatable 6€ menu.
