This pizzeria offers visitors something of both the flavor and feel of genuine Italian eateries. Hailing from the birthplace of pizza, its Neapolitan staff not only use the finest of fresh Italian ingredients and traditional cooking methods, but conjure a bonhomie that is distinctly old country, cracking jokes and involving the clientele in what is more than just an eating experience.
Aside from the excellent pizzas, prepared in front of the customer in a traditional clay oven, other meat, fish and pasta dishes are offered, all infused with the same purist zeal. Reassuringly, La Bella Napoli is frequented by many of Barcelona’s Italian expats, whose notorious temperament settles for nothing less than top quality, but at a reasonable price. This leaves the casual diner little to worry about, except which quality red wine to order.
