El Foro clearly considers itself something beyond simply a restaurant. Take, for example, the stimulating array of artwork mounted on the walls, which rotates monthly. Or consider the restaurant’s resident magician, Nicolas, who each Thursday distracts diners with his light-hearted take on the occult. Mix in Club Foro, situated downstairs—hosting regular jam sessions and Flamenco shows—and there you have the recipe for a truly transcendent dining experience.
The fare is well-priced and pleasant. Fixtures on the menu are rigorously crafted, and focus largely on Italian cuisine. Fresh meat, fish and vegetables are a given, though El Foro gains particular kudos for the spectacular prime cuts of Argentine beef. So we recommend arriving in the mood for a steak.
