Aguaribay
The pepper tree

Aguaribay—also known as the pepper tree—produces a fruit which is used as spice in Argentinean cuisine. As well growing in the Cordoba area, it also flourishes in Catalonia and Italy—the places of origin of the owners of this newly opened vegetarian restaurant.

Situated in Poble Nou, just a few blocks from the beach, this little restaurant offers homemade dishes all prepared with exclusively natural ingredients including pastas, nachos, burritos, tapas, homemade cakes, fresh juices, natural beer, bio wines and German ‘refresco’ Bionade. The great food and cosy ambience has quickly made this spot a Poble Nou favorite. Our tip: the Nachos a la aguaribay that come with freshly mushed guacamole.
