Having undergone a profound renovation, the new Teleferico de Montjuic opened in May 2007 and thus revived the Museu Militar (military Museum) in the Castle on top of Montjuic.
It is open 7 days a week, the price for a one way ticket is 5,70€ /adult (4,50€ children), a ticket tour/retour costs 7,90€ (6,-€).
The ride starts at Avenida Miramar, just a short walk from Fundació Miro , there is an in-between stop (Mirador) and it ends at Castillo de Montjuic, the Castle.
