Nova Icària beach is one of the most tranquil on the Barcelona coast, so while sun bathers will be packing up their buckets and spades on other beaches you’ll find people loitering here long after those beaches have emptied. Frequented mostly by families with children and groups of friends enjoying the sunset, visitors will be welcomed by a very mellow atmosphere.

While the presence of the neighbouring Olympic Port does little to enhance the view, the serene atmosphere makes Nova Icària an ideal spot to lose yourself in a book or have a siesta under the afternoon sun.
