Plaça Sant Just
The living past

The Square of Sant Just is what today remains of the old cemetery of Sant Just, in which, according to legend, the first Christian martyrs of Barcelona were buried. The highlight of this landmark is the Gothic fountain positioned on the corner of the streets, Palma de Sant Just and de Lledó, which was installed by Joan Fiveller in the year 1367.

The fountain is a great example of the neoclassical period, and preserves the image of Sant Just.
