The Foment de les Arts Decoratives (FAD) is a private, independent,
not-for-profit association made up of over 1,500 professionals in design, architecture and other creative fields. Its aim is to promote these disciplines as part of the cultural and economic life of the country.

Founded in 1903, FAD has become the leading point of reference in
design and architecture in Barcelona, thanks to its constant efforts to
advance creative culture through exhibitions, lectures, awards and
events that form a complete program with clear objectives.
