London bar is nearing its centenary, and there is a definitely a whiff of history about the place. Formerly a notable bohemian hangout—apparently frequented by the likes of Joan Miro and Ernest Hemingway—the old decor remains to pleasing effect. Imagine yourself getting sauced with the artistic and literary greats.
Once known for its live music, the stage unfortunately lacks action at the moment. Do pop in, however, if you fancy a game of pool or a chat with strangers in a friendly, cosmopolitan atmosphere. London Bar is also a good place to try your hand at absinthe drinking. The helpful English speaking staff can help talk you through the process.
