The Forevertron is a monolithic beast of a sculpture. Made of (take a deep breath) vintage carburetors, discarded power house machines, two Thomas Edison built bipolar electrical dynamos, a decontamination chamber from the Apollo space mission and a huge copper glass ball, this is Victorian machinery sent crashing into a bizarre Star Trek cum Wall-E world. It’s quite literally bonkers, but the tricky part comes in locating it. Deep in the depths of rural Wisconsin on the Highway 12, ‘Dr Evermor’s Forevertron’ to give it’s full name, is a slice of sci-fi wonderment in the wilderness.
