Right in the heart of De Pijp, sometimes dubbed Amsterdam’s Quartier Latin, Vintage Home’s founder has created a haven for both design enthusiasts like himself as well as newbies who wouldn’t know an Aalto from an Eames.

Vintage Home is a high-end store for mid-century modern design from, duh, the 1930s until the ’80s. It offers a continuously changing collection of unique design furniture and decorative interior accessories for sale (or rent!).

With its quirky but comfy presentation, Vintage eschews the usually stiff gallery pretensions of other specialized design stores, certainly inspiring us to rethink our living rooms in more of a ’70s James Bond style.
