As long as you’re not in a hurry (and the sun is out), Vertigo’s outdoor seating is the best place from which to watch the Vondelspark hotties and joggers roll by. At all other times the indoor bar underneath the Filmmuseum offers a comfy place for post or pre-film drinks.

Though service is erratic at best, food so-so and prices high, the lovely 19th century setting and the leafy surroundings make this an outdoor beverage option if the nearby Blauwe Theehuis is full.
