Simple, delicious English-style meals and fresh baked goods (including cakes, muffins and scones, all made on the premises!) can be enjoyed at this cozy, casual and centrally-located cafe. Alternatively, the brisk but friendly staff won’t mind if you just sit back and sip some tea or coffee.
Breakfast (including fry-ups or the healthier option of yogurt with muesli) is served by the friendly staff throughout the day, sandwiches (made with their amazing homemade soda bread) cost about €5 and there is also a take-away service.
A couple of tables are usually set up outside, so you can gaze at the historic canal houses reflected across the canal as you dine (although this is much more pleasant in the summertime). The worn, wooden seating both in and outside might not be very comfortable, but it only adds to the homey atmosphere.
