The Kashmir Lounge Café is right opposite the Kashmir Coffeeshop, thereby neatly circumventing the law that prohibits any establishment to sell both alcoholic drinks and marijuana, which means you can still get as stronken (“strunk,” slang for stoned and drunk) as you want.

By installing separate smoking areas, the Kashmir Lounge has also managed to evade the smoking ban that has been looming over the booze business. DJs play soothing soundtracks and funky tunes every day of the week and there’s even the occasional live performance.

The Kashmir Lounge prides itself on having been used as a location for several film shoots and music videos, and the most amusing bit on the website is the embedded clip in which the Lounge shows up in a Fox News item about the smoking ban.
