IJ-Hallen is the largest flea market in the Netherlands. It’s held outdoors during sunnier climes, retreating back indoors to the great halls of the NDSM shipyards during the winter months, but regardless of what setting you find it in, the treasure trove sprawl of goods on offer is a feat to behold.

Come here to find retro furniture, vinyl plunder from yesteryear or some vintage junk that you won’t need but always wanted. Although there is an entrance fee of €4 the sheer size and variety of the market makes it nigh on impossible to leave without getting your fill of bargain hunting.
