The Mediamatic Bank is the exhibition space of Mediamatic, a creative organization interested in exploring how cultural developments and new technologies relate to and affect one another.

The space plays host to exhibitions which look at various aspects of art, technology, fashion and design. Recent activities included a show exploring death and what happens to our online selves when we die. Another was about DIY fashion, and included workshops on how to make clothes from recycled rags that were still catwalk-ready. The space is not always open to the public, so be sure to check their website for the schedule.

And just so you don’t get confused, the Mediamatic Lab is Mediamatic’s sister organization. It develops social software applications and websites.
