At first glance the troupe at FATFORM seem to be head over heels in love with life and everything it affords. Multi-lingual and multi-faceted, there’s not much they can’t already do and nothing they’re not willing to try, from champion snowboarding to computer programming, from film-making to giving classes at The Gerrit Rietveld Academie.

Appropriating the summit of the Winkelcentrum in Zuidoost, FATFORM is bringing underground art to the rooftops of Amsterdam. With experimental cross-programming, different audiences are attracted from various fields such as contemporary art, biology, hip hop, new media, philosophy, performance and reggae and are encouraged (or basically forced) to at least have a peek at the other.

Expect original art and exhibitions, unique shindigs, and a rooftop crammed with artists from here, there and everywhere all contributing to the eclectic and forward-thinking FATFORM vibe.
