This former grimy, dark and cavernous club has changed it’s portfolio in recent years adopting a more palatable outlook for the less gothic clubber. It’s still a good spot for some down and dirty dancing, playing techno, industrial, punk and ska and new wave music, with a little bit of indie and drum’n’bass thrown in.
The atmosphere here is usually relaxed and informal. In fact, the Korsakoff is one of the easiest places to meet people and the mixture of pheromones, sweat and inebriation produces an air of flirtatiousness that could work in your favor, if you’re feeling adventurous.
While the booze isn’t dirt cheap, prices are still fair, although the selection of snacks and nibbles is very limited. You’ll probably find yourself in Korsakoff at the end of an alcohol-drenched night, cutting a rug to the eclectic playlist and indulging in some shenanigans with the friendly clientele that you probably won’t recall the morning after.
